Let's do some yoga outdoors with the mindfulness of nature around us at the beautiful Cylburn Arboretum. Weather forecasts calls for nice sunny weather in the 80s.
This event is for 2 hours and feel free to jump in at any time (e.g., 6pm, 6:30pm, etc.).

RESTORE OUR LEGS: This gentle yoga class focuses exclusively on the legs.
- This class will provide deep relaxation and release for the lower body, targeting areas such as the hips, thighs, calves, and feet.
- We will go through a series of long-held, passive poses supported by props (e.g., block, belt/strap, etc.) to increase flexibility and mobility in the legs, release tension and promote deep relaxation, improve circulation in the lower body, and create a sense of grounding and stability.
- Basically, this class is perfect for those looking to unwind, recover from physical activity, or simply give their legs some much-needed attention and care.

ACTIVITY DETAILS: At 5:45 pm, we will participate in 2 hours of yoga on the lawn.
YOGA MATERIALS: If you want to receive the full benefits of this class, ensure you bring the materials below in bold.
- Mat/towel/blanket.
- 2 blocks or more
- Bring a strap/belt
- Bolster/rolled blanket/2 pillows - Optional but very helpful.
- Bring at least 1 Liter of water.
- Sunscreen & Insect repellant.
- Breathable and flexible clothing to comfortably perform yoga postures.
- Healthy snacks (e.g., fruit, energy bars, etc.) to reenergize after the yoga session.

RSVP COMMON COURTESY: Only RSVP if you intend to make the event a priority, not just an option. Specifically, it is Not fair to take a confirmed spot, then cancel less than 48 hours in advance, limiting your fellow Singles in the DMV members' in “waitlist” status the potential to participate!
WHY WE VOLUNTEER: Your organizers are volunteers and we are sharing our passion for the outdoors. We organize events for fun, to socialize, get exercise, experience nature and meet cool new people. No bad attitudes please. :)
