Let's do some yoga outdoors with the mindfulness of nature around us at the beautiful Wilde Lake Park in Columbia, MD. This event is for 1 hour and 45 minutes and feel free to jump in at any time (e.g., 6pm, 6:30pm, etc.). Weather forecast calls for nice temperatures in the 70s.

BALANCE:
- Helps in improving our overall health.
- It is about making time paying attention to our body's needs (e.g., diet, exercise, and meditation).
- Balance also affords us to be present with friends, family and strangers alike.
- This yoga session we will practice being present with breathing techniques while performing fun balancing postures and then put them together for a slow flow.
MEDITATION: Also, before the end of class, we will apply Meditation Techniques which provide benefits of deep relaxation to reduce stress and anxiety, improve overall well being, upgrade sleep quality, enhance cognitive function and much more. After, you will feel more rested and restored.

ACTIVITY DETAILS: At 6:00 pm, we will participate in 1 hour and 45 minutes of yoga on the lawn.
YOGA MATERIALS: If you want to receive the full benefits of this class, ensure you bring the materials below in bold.
- Mat/towel/blanket.
- 2 blocks or more
- Bring a strap/belt
- Bolster/rolled blanket/2 pillows - Optional but very helpful.
- Bring at least 1 Liter of water.
- Sunscreen & Insect repellant.
- Breathable and flexible clothing to comfortably perform yoga postures.
- Healthy snacks (e.g., fruit, energy bars, etc.) to reenergize after the yoga session.

WHY WE VOLUNTEER: Your organizers are volunteers and we are sharing our passion for the outdoors. We organize events for fun, to socialize, get exercise, experience nature and meet cool new people. No bad attitudes please. :)
