This group will close down but a facebook group space is replacing it

Hi.

I am simply too busy to be hosting social events and the defects of using meetup.com are so obvious eg members can't even see the profile photo of other members attending an event unless they pay extra fee to meetup.com plus the subscription costs for group organisers is a whopping £300 a year roughly.

So if anyone wants to continue to either attend events or look up and send a message to other members or better still if you want to share events news and or post an event to group members here, then please go over to the facebook page called, ''Oxford singles events calendar''.

Unless someone wishes to replace myself as group admin, then this group will soon be closed down by meetup. Note that meetup.com does allow group organisers to post 2 events of max 10 persons per month for free.
