NOTE: Regarding our Sunday Walk and Lunch on April 26, rain is predicted both Saturday and Sunday. So, I am cancelling the walk but we are still having lunch at noon at Mama Luke's, 372 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington. If you are not coming to lunch, please cancel your reservation so that I have an accurate count for the restaurant. See you at lunch, Gail
WALK and LUNCH at Sessions Woods in Burlington at 11 am. It is a beautiful place with a beaver dam, duck blind hut, and a waterfall. It’s a nice walk in the spring with the trees leaves and flowers coming out. Later, we’ll go for lunch. No charge for walk. For info., call Gail at 860-463-6906.
Directions to walk: I 84W Exit 38 (Rt. 6 Bristol), go about 6-7 miles (pass Home Depot and Stop & Shop), at RR tracks, turn right onto Burlington Avenue (Rt. 69) for 3.7 miles, turn left at sign for Sessions Woods Wildlife Area. Go up hill, parking lot on left. We will meet there.
