Roswell is one of our favorite courses, esp when the weather is hot, since there are lots of trees. There is some elevation change, but not much. Beginners are welcome.

This is a level 2 event: Moderate current, this is a workout.

This event is open to any form of paddling, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards.

This is an upstream event. Get some exercise without it feeling like exercise. Assuming the core of engineers does not do a large release, this is at least 90 minutes upstream and float back. Total miles will be between 2 and 4 miles in each direction depending on interest.

We will start at the boat ramp at Azalea Park at 203 Azalea Dr, Roswell, GA 30075 at 8:30 (parking gets tough) and go up stream 2 - 4 miles towards 400. When you are tired just stop paddling, you will be carried back to your starting point.

We should be back around 11:30 and can grab a bite just up the road at Lucky's Burger & Brew 1144 Alpharetta St, Roswell, GA 30075.

You should make sure you bring drinking water and perhaps a snack. A PFD is required to be in your boat or on you.

If you do not have a boat, please post in the event that you would like to borrow a boat, I will let you use one if you park at my house and help me load up at 7:30 in East Cobb and unload after the event. Please comment in this event to say you would like to borrow one and I will contact you.

We are going to try again, supposedly everything is good now.

This is a simple trip suitable for beginners and up.

This event is open to any form of paddling, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards.

There is a kayak launch there, on the Little River. The river has virtually no current, easy paddle. We will paddle a bit over a mile to a waterfall.
If folks are interested after the waterfall, we can go out to Noonday Creek which makes the whole trip about 6 or 7 miles.

Parking is tough here so we will start at 8:30 so we can all park.

We should be back around 11:30. If folks are interested afterwards we can grab a meal up on Ridgewalk Parkway there are several restaurants.
