Venetian Pool is one of the best kept secrets in Miami/Coral Gables. You will hear about it by word of mouth before you discovery it on your own. Every summer for the past 30 years I have been travelling down to visit Venetian Pool.
This is a great venue meet new people in a very chill environment.
Here we are Sept 9, 2023 and it is a Saturday. IYNYK. If you don't Venetian Pool was created in 1924 and the water comes from the Biscayne Aquifer so the water is always 76 degrees. This is the 99th year the pool has been in service.

The goal is to get there by 9:30 am to get in line. The place opens at 10:00 am. By getting there early we get good parking, good spot for setting up and first dip in the pool!

We park across the street in the shade and walk across to what looks like a house but is in fact the entrance to the most amazing 850,000 gallon pool you have ever laid eyes on!
We will pay the admission $21 for non-residents and $6 for residents of Coral Gables and we will rent lawn chaises and set up shop under the big tree. There are lockers which I highly recommend you use to store your personal belongings.

We then rent a chaise and the staff will bring it to us and set up under the big tree. Make sure you do the outside shower before entering the pool. there is a shallow area for the non swimmers but for the swimmers there are some bonuses.
I have been coming to Venetian Pool every summer for the last 25 years.
