Free Event- Love in the Modern World: The Challenges of Dating and Relationships

Love, dating and relationships have always had their challenges, but has something fundamentally changed in the modern world? Dating apps, social media, changing expectations, greater independence, financial pressures and seemingly endless choices have transformed the way we meet, connect and build relationships. Join us for an open and respectful Zoom discussion as we explore what modern love looks like today—and whether finding a meaningful, lasting connection has become more difficult.

• How have expectations of men and women changed?
• Are independence and long-term relationships sometimes in conflict?
• What role do social media and technology play in modern relationships?
• Why can people feel lonely even when they are in a relationship?
• Are our expectations of romantic partners becoming unrealistic?
• Has traditional romance disappeared—or simply changed?
• What does a healthy, loving relationship look like today?

Come with your experiences, observations, questions and ideas. You don't need to be single or currently dating—this discussion is open to anyone interested in exploring love, relationships and human connection in the modern world.
