Who You Calling Old!
Details
Who You Calling Old? is the comedy show for people who are old enough to know better—and too old to care.
Join us Friday, July 3 at 7:00 PM for a night of live comedy, strong coffee and questionable maturity at Jarrod’s Coffee, Tea and Gallery in fabulous Downtown Mesa.
This month’s lineup features:
Dan Hanson
Lynette Charity
Richard Prange
Vicki Tyau
Hosted by Kristin LaVanway
These comedians have spent decades gathering material. Now we just hope they remember it.
No matter your age, a good laugh never goes out of style. Bring your friends, your neighbors, your favorite troublemaker—and anyone who could use a night away from traffic, gas prices and people who still don’t understand how a four-way stop works. We keep the spice level somewhere between snickerdoodle and Taco Bell.
Jarrod’s is housed in a historic 1910 home filled with local art, chandeliers and plenty of character. Rumor has it the place may even be haunted, although the ghosts have yet come up with any good jokes.
The show takes place in 109 Haus Venue, the separate performance building immediately west of the main coffee shop. It feels less like a traditional comedy club and more like having a show in your living room—assuming your living room had a stage, local art and really funny houseguests.
### Admission
There is no cover charge, but Jarrod’s asks each guest to purchase a drink, snack or sandwich to support the venue. We also accept tips!
Arrive early to order, find a seat and settle in. Anyone arriving late may become part of the show. That isn’t a threat. It’s just logistics.
Your purchase also enters you into the evening’s raffle, so you could leave with more than sore cheeks from laughing. Check in and purchase refreshments at the coffee shop.
Your drink is your ticket.
Seating begins at 6:30 PM
Show starts at 7:00 PM
Street parking is available, along with a limited number of spaces in the parking lot west of the building.
Take a nap! This show is worth staying up for! See you there!
