Who should join us ?
Singles from the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania interested to meet other singles in New York City, and being interested in meeting people from various countries, religions, ethnics and cultures.
Our group is opened to any sexual orientation, yet restricted to open-minded and fun people of all ages, and with one thematic event per week/month, suggested by members and/or organizers.
Why should you join ?
You should join us if you are single and interested in cultural diversity. You will have opportunities to learn from others, to challenge yourself, have fun, hopefully you will find the right special someone. Our members mingle, but they also make true friends, as members having found their soul mate through us are more than welcome to stay and share this experience.
Our members are singles, but most importantly, they are unique, that's the thing that matters the most in everyone's quest for love. What can you expect out of our group ? Our typical activities will be going out together, meet, mingle, and learn from each others. We like the concept of speed dating but we think a "slow dating" event is even better, themed parties, watching movies, going together to museums exhibition and tours with curators.
What we are NOT and we do NOT do :
We respect individuals (you) as well as Meetup group's community guidelines. In particular :
● We don't primarily promote a product, business, venue or service
● We don't divert members to another website and we don't act as a lead generator for another website
● We never send spam and we don't primarily broadcast messages rather than have events
● We don't create this group to promote a one-time event, we intend to have several events together

Serengeti Photo Safari + Zanzibar Extension! A Journey of a Lifetime!
We all have seen Lion King in one form or another . . . It's now time to go to the source.
Our meetup is off to Africa for The Great Migration Photo Safari! We did this amazing trip in the summer of 2024 and everybody had a blast! (see photos in the link below)
Encounter the exotic wildlife of the Serengeti! Marvel at the lions, zebras, elephants and so many majestic animals we have only seen in the zoo or in movies.
On Serengeti's vast, treeless plains tens of thousands of hoofed animals are constantly on the move in search of fresh grassland. This is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to experience the best game viewing in Africa!
Like every trip we do with Meetup, this one is personally crafted to offer the best places and best use of time.

July 5 Arrival Kilimanjaro Intl Airport and transfer to Arusha
July 6 Arusha to Tarangire National Park
July 7 Ngorongoro Crater full day game drive
July 8 Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park (Central Seronera area)

July 10 Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

All of these locations don't mean much to you at the moment, but after the trip you will remember them forever as some of the best places you have ever visited!
How much does this cost?
African Migration Safari $4998 per person, double occupancy.
Single supplement $750. I.e. price for a solo accommodation $5748
We offer roommate matching for those, wishing to share and save.

Join fun and friendly singles for a sunset stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. Our "Date Walks" are very casual and non-awkward way to meet others. Your host will be there to make introductions and will have everyone rotate, asking the men and women to switch so everyone gets a chance to talk with everyone.
We will first meet at a Starbucks where you can grab a drink for your walk. Then we'll walk a 1.5-2 mile stretch to the Brooklyn Bridge Park to NYC. We will also hang afterwards in a nearby area.

How many will attend? We limit the # of attendees to 30 so that everyone has enough time to get to know each other.What are the ages? We'll have a good mix of ages and everyone usually finds others in their age group.

How many members will attend? This is a multi-Meetup group event. This page only shows a small portion of the actual attendees. Based on other RSVPs and members who have already prepaid, we'll have a good amount attending!Can I come alone? Yes about 90% of those attending will be coming solo. But you can also invite friends to join you. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
What is the suggested age range? 21 and over. (20s, 30s, 40s, etc.) We get a good mix of ages so everyone will have others to mingle with.
Is there a dress code? We recommend neat casual. No sweats. Jeans ok.
