2025 Witch Paddle

You won't want to miss this event! Imagine 100's of witches paddle-boarding at Chatfield State Park.

You will need to pre-register for this event: Register - Witch Paddle Registration is $50. Our coven name is Wayward Sisters.

Due to the unpredictable nature of Colorado weather in October, it is strongly advised to have a decent amount of stand-up paddle-boarding experience under your belt. With that being said, if paddle boarding isn't up your alley, no worries. You can show up on the day of the event as a spectator and enjoy all the activities.

Notes: If you are registered, you will not need a park pass. Spectators will need a park pass.

Registration: 7am
Launch: 9am

What should you bring?

• Your own SUP or rent one before the event
• A warm change of clothes
• Wetsuit under your costume
• Neoprene booties (these are epic especially since the sand is gravely at Chatfield)
• Come in costume or change on site
• Board Decorations if that’s your thing
• $ for food truck and vendors

What is included with your registration?
Safe Access to the Water
We are required to have EMS on-site and a park ranger on the water in case of emergencies.

MacBean Photography will be on site again for photos and videos! You can always download watermarked images for free or purchase the ones you want without a watermark for a small fee.
