Welcome to Sip n Chess — a friendly, community-driven chess night hosted at Bar Blij (yes, literally “the bar of happiness,” and honestly… it lives up to the name).
We’ll start the evening with a drink together — first one’s on me — and ease into a fun, interactive chess lesson designed to make you think, laugh, and actually learn something new.
This is not a competitive tournament.
This is not a silent, serious chess club.
This is a cozy neighborhood bar filled with curious minds, a bit of nerdy charm, and people who enjoy using their brains in good company.
