HackAVertical is an ongoing virtual monthly hackathon in which participants connect remotely, team up, build innovative solutions to solve problems in the given verticals and apply for early-stage seed-funding. Links to funding opportunities are provided to all registered participants.
Participants learn about customer needs or funding opportunities in given verticals, pitch and demo their products, receive scores and get ranked. Top ranked participants secure a chance to receive awards ($50K-$200K) and/or seed funding ($25K-$250K for 1%-5% equity).
