April Meetup

Sip Happens is a casual afternoon meetup for gay guys aged 40+ to enjoy tea, cake, and easy conversation in good company.

The format is simple: Drop in, pour a cup, have a slice of cake, and see where the conversation goes. There’s no formal start, no structured activities to complete, and no expectation to stay for the whole time.

Event flow

• Arrival: Come anytime during the event window
• During: Plenty of tea and coffee on offer (can't promise the cake will last); join the table, chat or just come to hang
• Departure: Leave whenever it suits you

This is a come-and-go gathering rather than a sit-down event.

• A welcoming, low-key space for conversation

Optional contributions
If you’d like to bring something small to share, please do! Bring a cake, biscuits, fruit, or another treat if you feel like it. Contributions are entirely optional and very much in the spirit of adding rather than obligating.

RSVP & attendance
Places are limited, as the event takes place in my Amsterdam apartment (yeah, it’s small!).

Please RSVP only if you plan to attend, and if your plans change, do cancel your RSVP as soon as possible so someone else can take your place.
