Coffee Conversations: THIS Is What Would Bring Me Joy (Diaper Drive Event)

Hey Ladies,

Every month, we meet at Sip & Sonder in Inglewood for a Coffee Conversation. There is something special about a group of women coming together to talk over a cup of coffee. We meet regularly, once monthly to discuss a variety of topics, and to come together to get to know one another better, and to learn some things about ourselves.

Our coffee conversations are laid back and authentic. It doesn't matter what your communication style is. If you wish to sit and observe, you are free to do just that. If you wish to voice your opinion respectfully, that is welcome, if you wish to disagree respectfully, you'll get no argument there. All we ask is that you respect others, add some meaningful conversation, and come open to meet anyone. We find that coming without judgment offers the best and most rewarding experience. You are likely to meet and speak with someone you never imagine you'd talk to because we live in such a divided world. That is what is special about our group. We tear down stigmas and stereotypes by putting people into close proximity with others they otherwise would not. The best part is that it is all authentic. Don't take my word for it. Join us! You'll be so glad you did.

For this meetup, we will be discussing the 3 things (not necessarily material things) that is missing from our lives, that if we had, would bring us joy. It doesn't matter what they are, you just know that if you had these three things, you would feel more joy. It could be acceptance. It could be good health. It could a relationship. So let's discuss this issue and maybe even identify why we are missing the things that would bring us joy!

Also, this event is a diaper drive. I'm asking anyone who wishes to help mothers in need of diapers, to bring a back of diapers, or cloth diapers so that we can donate them to the LA Food Bank/Long Beach. This is a GREAT cause and is very impactful. Giving is always voluntary and no one is obligated to give. Give only if you are moved to do so.

While there are 13 spaces available for this event, this is a place of business so all are welcome. The first 13 to RSVP will be guaranteed seating in the regular Sisterhood seating area. Anyone who shows up who is not on the RVSP list will have to pull up a chair. We'll make it work.
Sisterhood Requests:
1. Bring your positive energy and good vibes.
2. Keep the conversation positive and up-lifting.
3. Please make new members feel warm and welcome by including them in a conversation and acknowledging their presence.
4. Please don't monopolize the conversation and keep comments to no more than two minutes.
5. Please make a connection before leaving the event. The purpose of our events are to help build community and connection.
6. Please do not RSVP if you have no intention to attend the event.
7. What we discuss in the group, stays in the group. Respect Privacy
