What we're about
Sisters Code's Mission is to "Awaken the Mature Geek." We empower women ages 25-85 to explore the world of coding and technology. Essentially we are motivating women to get out of their own way and try something new.
As the founder of Sisters Code, I started my career as an aspiring mortician and stumbled into the world of technology (23-years ago) and it changed my life! This is a safe, fun place for women to explore coding and have lots of fun doing it!
Our meet ups will feature coding opportunities, networking, happy hour (who doesn't love a great happy hour), tech talks, and SO much more.
Code of Conduct:
This is an all inclusive, judgement free, group, SO come on....show up for your own life and we will meet you there! #WeGotYou
Due to attendee limits we ask that you're certain you'll be able to attend our events before completing the RSVP. However, we do understand things happen. In the event that you're no longer able to attend, we ask that you update your RSVP to reflect your absence and provide our waitlisted members an opportunity to attend.
No Show Policy:
As stated above, our events & workshops have attendee limits. We understand that things happen; therefore we allow our members no more than TWO no show opportunities. Once a member has reached TWO no show's, they'll be removed from the group.
