10:00 am Welcome, Announcements
10:30 am – 12:00 pm Morning Session - “Sit and Be Fit”— Everyone has heard that “sitting is the new smoking” but this interactive workshop will teach you some simple steps to improve your body awareness while working at a desk. Learn exercises, stretches, and breath work to decrease your aches and pains and help keep you focused. As an added bonus, there will be a surprise demonstration you won’t want to miss!
Presented by Robert Birch, Doctor of Chiropractic. Rob has board certifications in integrative health and functional neurology, but perhaps his most important qualification is putting up with Becky as a patient for 20 years.
12:00pm – 1:00 pm Lunch (brown bag or visit nearby restaurants)
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Afternoon Session - Captain Joel White of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will walk us through a homicide case from beginning to end, explaining the steps they take to solve a murder. He has over 25 years of law enforcement experience, including more than 13 years specializing in investigations. His career spans from international drug investigations to complex homicide cases. Deeply committed to supporting crime victims, he believes passionately that every individual matters and is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community through his work.
