This meetup is for folks who are curious to learn more about our bio-regional plant kin (native and non-native). Your guide, Leah, forager and trained herbalist, will cover a range of topics on ecology, ethnobotany, botanical identification and medicinal uses of plants. There will be information on how to use and prepare plants as food and medicine with a focus on how to harvest regeneratively and with reciprocity. At the end of class there will be an opportunity to find a sit spot and take a moment to journal or draw or meditate with a certain plant you are drawn to. Herbal Tea will be provided.

  • What to bring: journal, something to write or draw with (colored pencils, pens, watercolors, etc.), cup for tea
  • This is a donation based event, pay from the heart
  • Location: Whychus Creek Foot Bridge, NF-1605 Sisters 97759
