Santa Barbara Coastal Escape • Queen Mary • Solvang • Beach Town Adventures
Details
Please read the first and the last paragraph before RSVPing.
This is a trip that 4 of us have been planning. Because of a medical issue, one person may not be able to go. I will not know if there is an opening for a couple of days so everyone goes on the wait list.
✨ Trip Highlights:
• Overnight stay aboard the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach
• Scenic coastal drive to Santa Barbara
• Exploring Solvang, Santa Ynez, and local beach towns
• Easy walks, sightseeing, shopping, and great food
• Optional wineries, farmers markets, and coastal stops
• Relaxing cabin time at Rancho Oso
• Card games, conversation, and making new friends
This is a relaxed, flexible trip — not a rushed tour. We’ll have planned activities each day, but there will also be downtime to recharge, enjoy the scenery, or simply relax with the group.
🚗 Travel Style:
• Small friendly group
• Shared itinerary with optional activities
• Moderate walking at an easy pace
• Great for women who enjoy road trips, coastal towns, photography, nature, shopping, and good company
Important:
• Each person is responsible for their own lodging, meals, and activity costs unless otherwise noted.
If you’ve been wanting a fun coastal getaway with a laid-back group of women, this is your sign to come along!
===================================
Very important-
- You will be sharing a room on the Queen Mary for one night with someone. It is less that $100 each.
- We are staying in a cabin at Rancho Oso. Google it. It is a RV resort in the mountains.
- We will take one car unless you want to drive up by yourself.
- The cabin is part of a membership that I own so the cost is only $10 a night each.
- You will pay for gas- well not gas because I drive a Tesla but you get the meaning.
- We will do several paid excursions including whale watching and a ferry to the islands. I do not have an exact cost yet but it should be between $300-400 total.
- If you are the one to go, you have to meet us for lunch next week.
- I am giving my phone number to anyone that RSVPs. Call or text if you have questions.
- This is a very no-drama, relaxing trip. You must be flexible. You are staying in a cabin - not at Caesars. No room service. One bathroom. Kitchen. This is very simple accommodations. Please, if this is not your style, do not RSVP.
