Sit Down, Shut Up, and Write! *Online* THURSDAY

The Format: 2-hour session

1:00: The online meeting goes live on Zoom. Click the "Online Event" or "Happening Online" link displayed on this page to join us. (If you haven't connected to a Zoom meeting before, see below for further instructions.)

1:00 to 1:20 (The "Sit Down" part): The first twenty minutes is reserved for checking-in, introductions & chit-chat. Please make sure you are calling in from a quiet location.

1:20 to 2:50 (The "Shut Up, and Write" part): We stop talking PROMPTLY at 1:20 and write for ninety minutes. Simply disconnect from the conference call or mute your connection (and stop your video) if you decide to stay online.

2:50 to 3:00 Once the ninety-minute block has concluded, whether you are flushed with success or you struggled to find your muse, you're welcome to check back into the meeting and let us know how you got on and continue the chit chat.

Connecting to the Meeting:

If you do not have Zoom installed on your chosen device, which can be anything with a camera and microphone (e.g. phone, laptop, or tablet), simply click on the meeting link, and you will be prompted to install the Zoom app.

Follow the instructions they give you, and once the app is installed, you should be connected to the meeting automatically. If you fail to connect, try clicking the meeting link again. You can also type in the meeting id using the Zoom website, if necessary.
