Talk #1: Benchmarking observability engines
Details coming soon!

Talk #2: How we deployed an observability strategy for our data pipelines in a way that is transparent to developers
Authors: Emma and Benoit are software engineers at Artefact. They are currently working together in a team responsible for providing tools to facilitate operations on data use cases for a major luxury group.

Abstract: Today, about 600 data streams are deployed in production at this major French luxury group. Observing them is a crucial challenge. Observing in our case means several things. It's not just about knowing their status. It's also about measuring costs (a major issue when handling a lot of data), knowing the versions of the software used, understanding execution times, and spotting potential anomalies, etc.
We have implemented this while also respecting a strong constraint: observability should not require any action on the part of the squads in charge of developing the use cases. The process must be transparent.
In this talk, we will see how we addressed this issue using Kubernetes sidecars among other things.
