Carnegie Science Center's "Desert Elephants" Movie + Lunch

Desert Elephants invites you to embark on an elephant-sized journey across Africa’s Namib Desert, the world’s oldest desert, and get up close and personal with the largest land mammals on the planet. PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW:
Tickets for the movie are $10 ($8 for members).
The movie starts at 12:15 (2D version since the 3D version isn't until 2:45 pm), and we should enter at 12:00 since doors close 10 min before the film begins. We will meet in the lobby at 11 am to get our tickets. I will provide FREE General Admission for up to 9 people + the movie discount ($8) at the counter when we enter at 11 am (PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME).

ALSO, Amy has generously offered to use her membership to get 9 MORE admissions and movie discounts! This should cover most who sign up since a few others are also members.

General Admission includes: Miniature Railroad, four floors of exhibits, and Planetarium Shows. You can visit some of these things before or after the movie. General admission is not necessary to enter the movie theater or Café.

LUNCH: For those who want to include lunch, we can walk about 10 min. up the street to Burgatory at about 1:00 (after the movie). Burgatory Website

Carnegie Museums Members - please get your own tickets and indicate that you are a member when you RSVP. Even if you purchase the tickets online, you will need to go through the line to exchange your online ticket for an ACTUAL ticket.

PARKING is available in front of the Science Center (or across the street in the North lot if that lot is full) for $6. Bring your ticket inside the Science Center and pay at one of the kiosks in the lobby (don't pay until you are ready to leave). Parking and Directions Info
