Making interactive web apps with {shiny}

Details
{shiny} is a popular R package for making interactive web interfaces in R. With it you can build an interface to your data in just a few steps, allowing you or your users to explore and interact with the data directly.
In this workshop, we will go through the minimum steps to get started with {shiny} and use it to explore a dataset - either one selected by me, or one by your choosing. It will be a hands-on session with materials both for beginners and intermediate users. Some experience with {ggplot2} and {dplyr} is useful, but not required.
If possible, please, install R, RStudio and {tidyverse} and {shiny} R packages before the workshop.
About the speaker: Jakob Willforss is a final-year PhD student in bioinformatics at Lund University. He develops R applications and uses data analysis for more sustainable agriculture. He enjoys teaching and has been involved in teaching introductory programming and data analysis at Lund University for several years.
This meetup is ONLINE. Please RSVP to this meetup and then connect to Zoom call at the link provided upon registration.
