Skate Busse Woods Elk Grove Village

Since we got kicked out of Hamilton Lakes . . . let's go back to Busse Woods!

All levels of skating welcome. I will say that I myself has only been down the two "big" hills at Busse once (what a rush!) so if you'd like to opt out of them that's fine. The pavement is pretty good along the south end and gets a little rough on the northern end - nothing we can't handle though.

MAP TO GROVE 26/27 AT BUSSEWOODS

The goal is to skate the red loop once which is 7.3 miles. If some are interested in a shorter skate, let me know and we will figure that out. Total distance from the lot comes to just under 10 miles-ish

Suggestions for other skating areas are welcome. I know of a couple towards Aurora and south on the way to Indiana - if I can get dates in between on those from friends, I'll publish as well. Otherwise we'll keep it simple and keep it at Busse.

Proper PPE is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
