Since moving to the Bay Area in 2015, I've learned that a lot of people here want to learn how to skateboard. Whether it's to conquer ramps, learn to ollie (i.e., jump) up curbs, or just travel to work--this is the best place to learn quickly and safely. I've been running this class since 2016 and have developed a series of beginner drills that teach people how to balance and often ride on their own in just one class. When students return for second and third classes, they progress to turning and ramps, and it's great to see their excitement when that happens.
