Casual Skeptics in the Pub

The SSSL board met at the end of last month and agreed to schedule our first SitP since Skepticamp. This is a casual gathering for us to get back together with no speaker, agenda, etc.
Please join us for a drink and and conversations about the current state of research on topics you do not feel comfortable bring up at work or family gatherings. This will also be a good opportunity to let the board members know what you liked and maybe didn't about Skepticamp, what you might want to see in the next one, etc.
For those of you new to skepticism or not familiar with the movement, here is an older page contrasting skepticism with contrarianism as they relate to climate change. It's definitely not perfect nor comprehensive; but, I think it might be a good starting point for those unfamiliar with skepticism.

We will have a few tables reserved in the main bar area at The Post Sports Bar & Grill (Creve Coeur location) starting at 5:30 PM. This is the location where many of us gathered immediately following Skepticamp.
