This multi-media one-man play is an intimate look into the life and mind of one of history’s greatest and strangest geniuses…Nikola Tesla. From his earliest years in Croatia as the son of a Serbian Orthodox Priest to his life in New York as “the man who invented the 20th Century”, you will discover how profound his contributions to the modern world were, and how deeply he delved into his own particular spirituality and personal vision of our universe to achieve them. All this plus a demonstration of a small but extraordinary Tesla Coil!

Ian Ruskin is a English actor/writer who has lived the greater part of his adult life in Los Angeles. He wrote his first one-man play, about labor leader Harry Bridges, over 20 years ago. This led to film and radio documentaries about Bridges and, gradually, a wider search for other misunderstood men, in particular Thomas Paine and Nikola Tesla. He has collectively performed his three plays about these men over 450 times across America and Canada and in Hawai’i, Australia, England and France, meeting extraordinary people along the way and gaining new perspectives and understandings of our world.
