Determinism and Chaos

Details
With a bit of a rejig to the day of the month to avoid clashes with other groups, we are back at 7pm on the 30th of May at The Globe in Soho, Central, Hong Kong (and every LAST Tuesday of the month going forward). We have outgrown the lounge area so will be in the gallery area at the back of the pub. Ask the staff when you arrive if you can't find us!
This month we are super luck to have our co-organiser Ekaterina to give us her summary of her recent trip to the UK to hear about "The Geometry of Chaos". She will be refering to Tim Palmer's book:
"The Primacy of Doubt: From Quantum Physics to Climate Change, How the Science of Uncertainty Can Help Us Understand Our Chaotic World"
You can find more about the book and topic here:

We are also still looking for new people to step up and get involved to help run and guide us in this new chapter of the Hong Kong Skeptics, so if you are interested please reach out.
Finally, we have set up a public WhatsApp group for the Hong Kong Skeptics. Feel free to join that group by clicking this link:

Don't forget to sign up now for the meetup now, so we know what numbers to expect!
