This months talk will first have a brief introduction to money, inflation, and debt, to introduce some definitions and facts for a common background.

Then we move on to monetary policy and fiscal policy, and their impact. That’s already more controversial, and if time permits we’ll touch on a few schools of economic thought and their views on these topics.

Note: This is not intended to predict where the markets are going or what you should invest in, but to give you the scaffolding and background to make sense of the economic news and interpret headlines with more confidence.
