Lessons learned: Setting up the Porsche Design System with Sketch

Designing applications for many different digital touchpoints in an environment that's becoming more and more abstract and fast-paced whilst keeping an overall high-quality UX and aesthetic: Now, that's a challenge – and a good reason for Porsche to come up with a Design System! In our meetup, Anna (Teamlead UX Design @ UDG United Digital Group) will share experiences from more than one year developing the Porsche UI Kit from a designer's perspective – covering basic questions like "What is a Design System (and what it's not)?" as well as top learnings in relevant fields like:

• Bringing smartness and logic into a Sketch library
• How to improve design-to-dev handover
• Setting and maintaining quality standards
• The role and importance of the Design System community

The meetup will take place in the UDG office in Ludwigsburg. You'll get to the entrance and guest parking spots by entering the courtyard via "Hindenburgstraße". By train from Stuttgart: Take the S4 or S5 to main station Ludwigsburg and then walk (10-15 min) or take the bus (421 Mehrzweckhalle | station 6).
