Sketch the Palm Springs Animal Shelter

Come sketch the Palm Springs Animal Shelter at 4575 E Mesquite Ave, Palm Springs. The Shelter is an interesting building with many angles surrounded by native plantings and sculptures. If you want to draw people you can usually see dog walkers in the area. The Shelter is adjacent to Demuth Park where there are opportunities to draw pickleball players and Park views. There is street parking available on Vella Road and Mesquite as well as in Demuth Park. Please do not take up spaces in the Shelter parking lot. There are a few places to sit but it is best to bring a stool.

Meet in front of the Animal Shelter by the Vella Road parking lot. I'll be there with my straw hat. We will gather there for about 10 minutes and then disperse to do our drawings.
