Come sketch at the Palm Springs Airport. Sketch from outside or go inside in the area before the security checkpoint that includes the ticket counters and baggage claim. If you want to go beyond the security checkpoint you can apply for a visitor pass online. You'll need a Real ID license and have to meet all the requirements for liquids and other safety items to go through TSA.

Paid parking is available at the airport but it is pricey at $9 per hour. There is free street parking across El Cielo on Civic Drive between Tahquitz Canyon and Baristo. There is also street parking on Baristo. Both areas are only a short walk to the airport. Meet at the fountain in front of the airport at the intersection of Tahquitz Canyon and El Cielo at 10 am.
