Sketch at Andreas Canyon at Indian Canyons

Come draw at Andreas Canyon in Indian Canyons. Andreas Canyon is an easy one mile trail that winds through a California Fan Palm oasis around Andreas Creek. Within a short walk from the parking lot you can find towering palms, rock formations, and flowing water. There are picnic tables scattered through the area as well as rocks to perch on while drawing. You can walk the trail a little ways for vistas with wild flowers and distant hills. There is an admission fee to enter Indian Canyons (Adult $12/ Senior $7). Once past the entry kiosk, watch for the turn to Andreas Canyon on your right. Follow the turn to the parking lot. Meet at the trailhead sign at 10 am. Bring water, snacks, and a hat. There are porta-potties at the parking lot.
