Free sculpture workshop for international women’s day. £2 for clay

Come along for a free sculpture workshop at Bath Artists Studios. You will be making a sculpture of a person in air-dry clay. Your figure will then be exhibited along side other sculptures, to form a larger art work called ‘Community’, marking International Women’s Day.
The art work will be part to the exhibition exploring the theme of community at The Roper Gallery at Bath Artists studios. The exhibition runs from 8th March to 15th March. Preview evening on 8th March at 6pm.
Please donate £2 to cover the cost of the clay.
The figure can be of anyone and they can be painted or left as they are.
If you prefer to make your sculpture at home please come along to pick up the clay.
The workshops are run by Sue Larner, a Bath sculptor and graduate of the Royal College of Art. She has run popular sculpture classes on Wednesdays at Bath Artists Studios for 25 years. She also runs drop in life drawing sessions on Tuesday mornings and Sketch and Tipple evenings on alternate Fridays.

These workshops are free, with no hidden costs, please donate £2 for the clay. Any child attending must be accompanied by an adult at all times, with one adult for each child.
