This 90-minute, beginner-friendly session covers a few basic skills you can use to begin illustrating your experience in personal and creative ways. You might only know how to draw a stick figure in the beginning, but, by the end, you'll be able to open a sketchbook and draw anything, anywhere. Or at least, you'll know the method behind the magic, feel confident about your work, and most of all–HAVE FUN!
We meet under the clock at Grand Central Terminal, which is one of the most beautiful interiors in New York City and an easy destination to reach by subway.
Simple materials (a sketchbook and pen) are available so you can simply come as you are, however, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own sketchbook if you have one.
The class is taught by Kevin Zych, who regularly posts drawing tutorials on Instagram and TikTok. Check out @kevin_zych on either platform for more.
This is not your typical paint-and-sip activity. You will learn real observational skills you can use throughout your life, even if you don't continue drawing.
Sessions are $60 for individuals. $45 per person for couples and groups.
