Draw Together. Meet New People. No Experience Needed.

Sketchat is a small international drawing community based in Seoul.
We meet once every two weeks to draw, share ideas, practice English and Korean naturally, and enjoy creating together.

This isn't an art class.
This isn't a networking event.
And while conversations often happen in both English and Korean, this isn't a typical language exchange.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a hobby artist, or a professional illustrator, you're welcome here.

🎨 What We Do

• Every meetup is a little different.
• We might spend an evening drawing together in a café.
• We might sketch along the Han River.
• We might all draw the same prompt in completely different styles.
• Sometimes we play collaborative drawing games where everyone contributes to one artwork.

🌿 Our Culture

• Sketchat is designed to be relaxed.
• Some people enjoy chatting throughout the session.
• Others quietly focus on their sketchbook for around two hours.
• Both are completely welcome.
• There is no pressure to socialize, network, or speak perfect English or Korean.
• Everyone is free to enjoy the meetup in their own way.

Schedule
Every other Wednesday
7:00 PM – 8:40 PM

Group Size
Maximum 6 participants
Keeping the group small helps everyone feel comfortable and gives people space to draw at their own pace.

🎒 What to Bring
Bring whatever you enjoy drawing with.
Sketchbooks, pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, iPads, drawing tablets, laptops. Anything is welcome.

🤝 Community Guidelines
We respect everyone's privacy.
We don't take or share photos of people's faces without permission!
Feel free to photograph artwork and the creative atmosphere.
There's no official dinner or drinks after the meetup.
The meetup ends at 8:50 PM, and everyone is free to head home afterward.

뭐 하나요?
매번 조금씩 다르게 진행해요.

• 한강 가서 드로잉
• 같은 주제 하나 주고 각자 스타일대로 그려보기
• 릴레이 드로잉 (한 명씩 이어 그려서 그림 하나 완성하기)
• 화실 빌려서 크로키, 인체 드로잉
• 그냥 앉아서 자유롭게 그리기
• 멤버들끼리 작은 전시
• 아트페어나 갤러리 같이 가보기

쓰시던 그림 도구 가져오시면 돼요.
스케치북, 펜, 크레용, 아이패드, 타블렛 다 괜찮아요.

8:50시에 깔끔하게 끝나고,
따로 저녁 뒷풀이, 술자리는 없어요. 🙅
참여자 얼굴 사진도 찍지 않습니다!
