Saturday's Schedule
9 AM: Jump start your hackathon with coffee and breakfast bites while meeting potential teammates. Discuss ideas big and small or get started right away with your team to bring your idea to life!
11 AM: Doors are officially open for the hackathon as speakers and City of Houston employees stream in to pitch additional ideas.
12 PM: Welcome, announcements, and words of advice are shared in the main room. Additional ideas will be pitched. After this kick-off, we should be in teams and get to working on our projects!
12:30 PM: Lunch is served.
7 PM: Dinner is served.
12 AM: The building's doors will lock, but you may continue to stay to work. Just note, if you step out, your teammates inside the building will need to let you back in.
Sunday's Schedule
7 AM: The building's doors will reopen.
12 PM: While you can continue working on the project and the presentation, the project form with project description and a link to the presentation must be submitted online by this time.
1 PM: Presentations begin! Teams will take turns presenting their projects to fellow attendees, other people interested in the hackathon, and a panel of judges. Judges will deliberate and winners will be announced shortly after! Clean up will start when we're done.
4 PM: This is the end of the hackathon, but not the end of our projects. If you want to keep building your projects, come to our weekly hack nights to continue your work, or if needed, we can work with you to plan a hand-off of your project.
