The Feast of San Gennaro in Manhattan's Little Italy

Details

SketchCrawl is exploring all things Italian in NYC this weekend with a pair of events in and around Little Italys in the Bronx and Manhattan!

After exploring Arthur Avenue in the Bronx on the 15th, join us for the companion event in Little Italy in Manhattan Saturday the 16th!

*Please note if you have never been before, this area becomes incredibly busy for this festival. Expect a lot of standing, a lot of people and likely limited interaction among our group of crawlers. Please be safe and plan for what you'd like to get out of this time in Little Italy!

Itinerary:

1:00 PM - Meet at Liz Christy Garden. We'll meet up here at this little garden nearby the festivities. Please be prompt!

2:00 PM - Observe the Grand Procession! We'll try and find a place to observe the Grand Procession all together. It is set to begin at 268 Mulberry Street, and run for about 2 hours. Standing and sketching is the name of the game here so please be prepared!

4:00 PM - Peel off and find some cannolli! There's so much to see and eat at the Feast of San Gennaro. Grab a bite and head back to the Liz Christy Garden.

5:00 PM - We'll trade sketchbooks and take a look at what everyone managed to capture before saying goodbye until the next crawl, and then going back for seconds.
