What we’re about
A place to announce the date of the next quarterly sketchcrawl, decide on a location, and then post sketches.
Sketchcrawl is a quarterly event held around the world at which artists meet at some location, or go out singly, and sketch. Afterwards they post their sketches online where other sketchcrawlers can see them.
In Tallahassee we continue that tradition, in a variety of places, from Cascades Park to the Tallahassee Museum to the Capitol Building, anywhere that offers interesting subjects for sketching, somewhere to sit while doing it, protection from whatever weather we're having, and, preferably, access to snacks and beverages.
Anyone interested in sketching and who would like to meet other sketchers, exchange tips, share inspiration, or just enjoy the company, should join us.
There is an official sketchcrawl organization, with forum, but both seem to have lapsed of late. In any case there is no official affiliation between that group and this.
There are no dues or fees required for attending sketchcrawl.
