Sketchy SL,UT's sketch at the AVIARY!

Hey there you sketchy SL,UTs! Fantastic to meet you-- are you ready for the first event of the summer season?!
I expect everyone to cheer.

WHERE:
TRACY AVIARY AT LIBERTY PARK

Salt Lake City, Utah 84105

WHEN:
MONDAY, JUNE 1st
5 PM - 7 PM (or until they close at 8)

HOW MUCH:
$7 to join (paid to me)
$5 at the aviary for ticket fee! (paid TO THE AVIARY)
(Tickets to be purchased IN PERSON at 5 pm, as that's when they do their $5 tickets!)

BRING:

• Waterbottle
• Sketchbook
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sunscreen/bug spray

(It's okay if you forget art supplies-- I can provide some! Just give them back when you're done!)

PROVIDED BY ME:
Snacks:

• Juice boxes (because I'm a child and who doesn't love juice boxes?)
• Mini water bottles
• Veggie tray to share
• Fruit tray to share
• Cookies!

ACCESSIBILITY:
The aviary IS mobility aid accessible for those who would like to join us but are worried about mobility. There is also accessibility via buses for those without reliable transportation!

AGENDA:
5:00 - 5:15 PM - Check in! We'll all meet by the front entrance to the aviary, we'll all go purchase our tickets at this time!
5:15 - 5:20 PM - We'll enter the aviary and make our way to the Bird Feeder Cafe where we'll set up our 'base camp'.
5:20 - 5:30 PM - While I get the snacks set up and ready to go, I'll have us start with some introductions!
5:30 - 5:45 PM - We can munch on some snacks together and talk about plein air sketching, share tips and advice when sketching live animals.
5:45 - 6:30 PM - Let loose! Go sketch some birds, wander the park, just enjoy the evening vibes! You can pair up with people if you'd like, or wander alone!
6:30 PM -- Meet back at our 'base camp'!!
6:30 - 7:00 PM - Share what we made and talk about how the process was for us!

* Our event officially ends at 7 PM, but the aviary stays open until 8 so feel free to keep sketching and hanging out together or just enjoy the birds and appreciate the great job the aviary does with their conservation efforts!

Please pay the $7 fee in advance so I know how much food to buy for the event and can compile an accurate guest list!
