Thessaloniki JS Meetup #2: LLMs in Javascript & Web Assembly

We are excited to announce our next meetup which will take place on February 13, at 19.00 sharp at OKThess.

Our agenda is packed with two interesting talks.

The first speaker Panagiota Mitsopoulou, who is a Senior Frontend Engineer @ Elastic (ex-Microsoft) will introduce Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) using Javascript. In this session we will see practical demonstrations on how to setup and use OpenAI API within Jypyter Notebooks. You will learn how to integrate AI in your javascript projects, from setup to execution.|

The second speaker Georgios Giatsidis, who is Frontend Software Engineer @ BetAdvanced will talk about the power of Web Assembly
(WASM) and how it transforms web performance. In this session, we’ll explore why WebAssembly is a game-changer for JavaScript developers, its practical use cases, and walk through a hands-on example.
