Day Trip to Mount Sunapee Resort

Details

Looking forward to a fun ski day! I will be arriving to the mountain at 8:30 a.m. and heading to the main Sunapee Lodge. If you do not have an Epic Pass, I suggest you buy your lift ticket online tonight - as the resorts are all limiting number of tickets sold. Plus, it's cheaper! I am trying to figure out if you can leave your gear in the lodge and have not yet been able to find this info on the website - does anyone know??? I will post a specific meeting place once I arrive in the lodge. Let's connect there to come up with a plan for the day - we will determine ski levels and comfortability with various terrain. We may (or may not) all ski together depending on what we discover. We will make a plan to meet for lunch as well as apres ski (if we all make it that long!). Please ping via the Meetup app if you need to connect with me. See you tomorrow morning in the lodge!

Ski Safety Tips

  1. Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
  2. People ahead of you have the right of way. It’s your responsibility to avoid them.
  3. Don’t stop where you obstruct a trail or aren’t visible from above.
  4. Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  5. Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
  7. Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride, and unload safely.
