A big day of skiing and fun is lined up at Black Mountain — read on:
Black Mt is aiming to be both the first NH ski area to open (done) and the last to close (looking very likely).
If you haven’t been yet this season, this is a great chance to see firsthand the energy and vibe that has kept Black Mt. front and center.
On Saturday:
• Maple Slalom Sugar Race — 12 PM
Free, family-friendly, and open to all. Just show up, race, and grab a maple syrup slushie.
• Alpine Cabin Après — 3–5 PM
DJ party + Spread Eagle Contest led by Erik M. The double will be spinning until 7 PM for bonus laps.
Saturday night:
• Fast Times — 6 PM, Base Lodge
Full-on 80s throwback: big hair, keytar solos, and high-energy hits all night.
• Lifts run 'til 7pm!

WHERE TO MEET
Inside the Base Lodge, lower level, at tables opposite the ski rental counter.
8:30 AM — feel free to arrive early to get boots on.
Parking is limited at Black!
I have no idea what the crowd will look like for this event.

- No experience level required — all are welcome!
- This is a self-organized group ski day; everyone is responsible for their own lift ticket and equipment
- Should you desire overnight lodging: $40 at Lawrencian Ski Club in Bartlett, 6 miles away.
