Ski around the Matterhorn: skiing trip to Cervinia, Italy 12-19/3/2017

Details
SKIING HOLIDAYS TO ITALY 12th March - 19th Mach 2017
If interested come to the dinner meetup on Monday 27th February 7pm, Mildreds, Kings X https://www.meetup.com/skidating/events/238010781/
Location: Cervinia, Italy (resort connected with Zermatt, Switzerland) http://www.cervinia.it/pages/Home_i_en/211
- Official blurb: The Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Zermatt area is one of the largest in the Alps, with a varied “domaine skiable” beyond compare, which stretches through three valleys in two countries, Italy and Switzerland, from the 3,883 m of the Piccolo Cervino descending to the 1,524 m of Valtournenche. 360 km of ski runs offering the chance to ski all day without ever repeating the same run twice, alternating easier runs with those of increasing difficulty.
- My take: It's one of my favourite resorts with plenty of ski runs for all levels of skiing (easy blue to black and off-piste), most runs at the altitude of 2,500-3,500m guaranteeing high quality powder snow, glacier skiing and sunshine in March. Skiing around Matterhorn is breathtaking! I've been there a few times and keep coming back so trust me :-)

Hotel. ski-in ski-out aparthotel on the slope :-) http://www.whiteapartments.it/
Meals. Breakfast is included; lunches and dinners are not. The apartments are self-catering with equipped kitchens. There is a restaurant onsite ( http://www.whiteapartments.it/white-base-camp.html ) which looks excellent, minimarket and a large communal area in the lobby we can hang around if we don't fancy going to the centre of Cervinia (18mins walks) where there are many dining and apre-ski options - it is a nice little village to explore.

Flights. We fly to Milan Malpensa. There are a number of flights from different airports in London as cheap as £50 return at the moment so I might be easier for you to book a flight from your nearest airport and we meet at Malpensa. Don't book your flight before I confirm your place and set the time for the transfer to/from Malpensa.
Apre-ski and area attractions there is a spa hotel with a swimming pool only 6 mins walk from the apart-hotel (I have to check if it's open for non-guests). There are also 1 day trips options (St Martin - iconic village with Roman bridge) if you don't fancy skiing 9-5pm every day. Observatory is also reachable by skies and train.
Cost. The cost of the holidays will be £590 including accommodation for 7 nights in shared rooms/apartments, transfer to/from the airport to the resort, local tax, organizers fee and breakfasts. Single supplement is £420.
Cost does not include: flights, ski pass, ski hire, insurance (essential), lunches and dinners
