Winter Garden Fun Day

Pick your poison for Saturday, December 8 with the Orlando Ski and Travel Club. Join us for part or all of this fun day!

8:30 am wheels down (we start riding) at Winter Garden Station Trail Head - meet LeeAnne on the porch at 8:15 a.m. (look for Orlando Ski Club blue bandana). 455 East Plant St. Winter Garden. Enjoy this section of the West Orange Trail which is part of the national Rails to Trails movement. Rentals available at Winter Garden Wheel Works (www.WGWheelWorks.com). We'll ride for about 1.5 hrs and won't leave anyone behind (no drop ride). Helmets required. Bring a water bottle.

9:00 am - 2:00 pm Farmers Market -104 South Lakeview Ave.‎ Winter Garden. Every Saturday, the Winter Garden Farmers Market showcases unique local eats, fresh produce, creative local artisans, and more dogs than you could imagine. Enjoy on your own between group activities.

10:45 am meet at Crooked Can Brewery for a 1.5-mile Historical Walking Tour (Jackie). 426 West Plant St, Winter Garden. Learn a little about this town settled along the south shore of Lake Apopka where citrus, sawmills, and railroads played an integral part in its history.

Noon – Lunch at Crooked Can Brewery inside Plant Street Market - 426 West Plant St, Winter Garden. Plant Street Market is a local indoor artisan community market located in historic downtown Winter Garden, with 20 vendors featuring natural, organic food and handmade products including the Award Winning Crooked Can Brewing Company. Drinks and eats at your expense.
