What we’re about
Welcome beginning and experienced screenwriters! We host regular live table reads, script swaps, in-person meetups, writers groups, screenwriting bootcamps & workshops with repped writers and industry guests. Each week there are several live & virtual classes, workshops, Q&As and intensive 6- to 8-week bootcamp courses that take you from idea to first draft, to polished feature screenplay or TV pilot.

We are part of skillca.mp a non-profit organization providing free and low-cost skills training, reskilling, and business development education globally, focusing on underserved communities.

Discord: https://discord.gg/6aKygQNcDqEach week, writers around the world gather on WordCamp to read and critique our work out loud. Join us to experience your words from an new perspective and get immediate, real-world feedback on your novel excerpts, short stories, non-fiction or poetry.
Hearing your words read out loud also helps you identify what's working and what isn't working. Your ear will catch awkward or unnecessary phrases. What sounds eloquent in our heads might seem clunky when spoken out loud. It also helps you find the music in your words as you develop your voice. Live readings are useful to get a feel for the flow of your prose. Great authors select words not just for their meaning, but for emotional impact, rhythm, and sound
How to submit?
To submit your project to the next writer's voice, use one of these forms:

Together we read through mind blowing and inspiring screenplays from the annual Black List, Nicholl Fellowship, Hit List, Blood List, Cannes List and Sundance Lab as well as unproduced gems from Hollywood studio archives, occasionally followed by a live Q&A with the writer.
This meetup works sort of like a book club for great screenplays. Be sure to read the script and then join us on Discord or Zoom to discuss it in-depth.
