At this month's Code Matters, we're joined by not one but two Googlers: Thomas Steiner and Miguel Carlos Martinez Diaz who'll be guiding us through a mini-hackaton. Don't miss it!

Thomas and Miguel will be guiding us through a mini-hackaton to show us how dynamic (progressive web) apps can be built with AMP, debunking the myths that AMP is only a static framework and that it doesn’t get together with PWA.

The final app attendees will be hacking will look something like this: https://tomayac.github.io/amp-tube/

By giving a basic scaffolding, we can fit this in any format with plenty of ways for participants to explore different directions like focusing more on the PWA aspects, the design, or the UX, among other opportunities

Prerequisites!

This isn't for beginners. The more you know about AMP and/or PWA already, the better. It's recommended that you should walk through the AMP Hello World (https://ampbyexample.com/introduction/hello_world/) and the baseline PWA code lab (https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/codelabs/your-first-pwapp/) before attending.

Remember to bring your own laptop!
