Ethics for Data Science
Data science can save lives or ruin them. Steph Locke tells us more about ethics in data science, and why we need to ensure ethical development.
How we go about doing things from including Face Detection APIs into applications through to detecting tumours has real world consequences. This keynote elaborates some of the ways things go wrong, some of the questions we need to ask ourselves and, most importantly, some of the things we can do to ensure we’re ethical in our development or deployment of data science products.
