James Vollmer will be presenting Target's Journey to Hadoop. James is a Lead Engineering Consultant and brings with him 25+ years focused on business intelligence, data warehousing and analytical applications in industries ranging from retail, consumer packaged goods and government.

This is an overview of Target's journey to Hadoop including boots on the ground detail. Target has been working on introducing Hadoop into their production ecosystem and James has been on the frontline of this effort.
