Using CoreLocation at Scale

Core Location is one of the most important (and oldest!) frameworks in iOS, and over the years has seen many added capabilities from geofencing to background updates to iBeacons. You probably know the basics of how these work, but coordinating regions and beacon hardware across 1800 stores presents unique challenges few have ever faced. Come hear how the Target iOS App uses location features to help everything from welcoming guests at the parking lot to deals in the freezer section, and some of the more interesting challenges faced along the way.
