Slalom - Platform Engineering DOJO using AWS & CDK

We are excited to announce Slalom Build's upcoming Platform Engineering DOJO meet-up event on implementing AWS Cloud Services using Cloud Development Kit (CDK) that will be held at the Slalom Toronto Office.

This event is open to all DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineers, regardless of their experience with AWS CDK. We will cover the basics to get you started and ensure that everyone can benefit from the event.

The event will feature a hands-on implementation demonstration of AWS CDK, where you will work on a demo project to get a better understanding on the capabilities.
This live implementation will provide an opportunity to learn how AWS CDK can simplify infrastructure management and improve consistency across environments.

The event will conclude with a Q&A session, where you can ask any questions, you may have about AWS CDK and its implementation.

As part of the DOJO exercise you will need to bring the following:

• Your own personal laptop
• Your own AWS Cloud account - An AWS cloud account where you can deploy and provision services on your own. NOTE: We will be providing the instruction and necessary source code for the exercise
